Christian Apologetics - Critical Thinking & Christianity Grades: 5th-6th Course Description: Christian Apologetics will help your student think logically and consistently about matters of faith. They will learn to identify why the Christian faith is not only reasonable, but extremely compelling. We will study arguments for a creator, reasons to believe the Bible is from God, and we’ll focus in on the historical reliability of the gospels in particular. Students will learn to ask tough questions about the Christian faith, and will be encouraged to do the work of finding good answers. Students will also become experts on the message of the gospel, with the ability to articulate it clearly and biblically. Note: If you feel like your 5th grader is academically “young,” they may benefit more from this class if they wait until 6th grade. Likewise, “younger” 7th graders are welcome to join. Cost Per Semester: $245 Textbook, workbooks, or materials needed for class: Final book list TBD. These are the current considerations: God’s Crime Scene for Kids by J.
