Course Description: 

This is a full year high school course that will cover all the standards in the Geometry math curriculum.  We will cover concepts in Geometry Basics, Logic and Proof, Parallel and Perpendicular Lines, Congruent Triangles, Relationships in Triangles, Similar Triangles, Right Triangles & Trigonometry, Polygons and Quadrilaterals, Transformations, Circles, Volume & Surface Area, and Probability.

Cost Per Semester: 

$550 – this includes the $25 for the curriculum printing

Textbook, workbooks, or materials needed for class: 

We will be using the reproducible curriculum “All Things Algebra” for this course so there is a fee for reproducing the curriculum, but you will not need any other textbook.

Bio:

Jennifer Mazzagatte graduated from Long Beach State University with a degree in Liberal Studies with a Mathematics concentration.  She holds a CA Multiple Subject Credential with an authorization in Mathematics K-9.  She taught in Cypress School District before she and her husband, Craig, started their family.  Jennifer started her own math tutoring business and has been tutoring Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry and Algebra 2/Trip for the past 17 years.  She has two sons and one daughter-in-law.  They have all graduated from college, her eldest and his wife from Cal Poly SLO and her other son from CBU.  

Jennifer is thrilled to work alongside the amazing students, families and educators at PC Prep for a third year to help equip and prepare the students for what God has planned for their future.
