Course Description:

This one-year upper level High School Anatomy and Physiology class is great for students who may be interested in pursuing a career in a health-related field.  This lab-based course will help you understand the amazing complexity and thoughtful design of God’s most precious creation; humans!  Some of our more exciting labs will include a cow’s eye dissection, cow’s heart dissection, and we will be ending the year with a fetal pig dissection!

In this class you will be responsible for completing all of the reading and most of the note-taking and questions on your own at home.  Quizzes and exams will also be take-home.  During our class time we will briefly go over the reading and answer questions from homework assignments before jumping into our weekly lab.

Hi! My name is Bri Eaton and I am thrilled to be your student’s Anatomy and Physiology teacher this year!  I have had the privilege and joy of homeschooling my 5 children for a total of 10 years, and we are blessed to be a part of the PC Prep community!  I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.S. in Applied Health/Pre-Physical Therapy.  My love for human anatomy and physiology started in High School, which is why I am so excited to be teaching this class again!  It is my hope that this class will not only challenge and inspire your student, but also draw their attention to the overwhelming evidence of God our Creator!
