Elementary Spanish (3rd-6th)

Title of Class: Elementary Spanish 

Grades: 3-6 

Course Description: Students will learn the basics of the language by forming basic sentences, including asking and answering simple questions. Students will also be introduced to Latin American culture.  Practice in listening and speaking so that the students can communicate on a basic level. Class time will include interactive lessons and worksheets to get the students engaged and practicing the vocabulary they are learning. 

Cost Per Semester: $250 + $30 for materials 

Textbook, workbooks, or materials needed for class: I will print and provide everything your child needs for class.

Bio: Karen is a wife and mom of three boys, and enjoys teaching in various settings as a tutor and homeschool mom. A native from El Salvador, she is fluent in Spanish and enjoys sharing her culture and language with others. Karen majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Spanish while in college. When she is not teaching, you can find Karen spending time with family and friends, enjoying life in Southern California.
