Engineering with LEGO®: Principles of Engineering

Grades: 1st-6th


Strategic Kids Principles of Engineering will expose children to general engineering concepts. The concepts that will be discussed include the Six Simple Machines: levers, wheels and axles, pulleys, inclined plane, wedge and screw. These lessons are a combination of instruction based builds and "open design" building that encourages exploration and experimentation to meet assigned challenges.
