Since 1996 she has been giving IEW instruction to hundreds of other children. Lori's philosophy of education is two-fold: first, all true wisdom comes from the Lord, so teaching must honor Him. Second, learning should be fun and instructions clear so that students enjoy the process of learning and succeed in their assignments. Lori lives in San Juan Capistrano, CA, with her husband, John, who pastors a small Bible church.
Using the first three books of C.S. Lewis’s Narnia collection (and other books with related themes), the literature lessons focus on both a study of C.S. Lewis’s masterful writing style as well as his Biblical parallels and life lessons. Students will read and write about the following books:
The Magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis
Animal Farmby George Orwell
The Lion the Witch, and the Wardrobeby C.S. Lewis
Tuition: $250 per semester ($35 material fee as well, due at registration)
