Entrepreneurship and Small Business

This class is geared toward inspiring, encouraging, and training up the next generation of
entrepreneurs and small business owners. In a time when more people are ditching business
ownership to work for big corporations, we need brave young men and women to be business
owners to preserve the freedom we love so much. This is a one of a kind class was developed
by small business owners to teach up and coming entrepreneurs and small business owners
how a successful small business is run.

By taking this course, you are already ahead of others your age, and the wisdom you gain will
keep you from making fundamental mistakes, or learning the hard way. This course is a
culmination of over 25 years of experience working in businesses and hands on with business
owners.

We discuss economics, business law, management and procurement, business entities,
finance, sales, accounting, taxation, and legacy planning. There are no prerequisites for this
course.

It is a two semester, 32 week course. A book will be provided and will be part of the
materials fee. This is a hands on, lecture and activity based class. We will meet Thursdays from
12:10-1:40.

The cost of this class is $300 with a $50 materials fee.

I am Julia Carlos. I have a BA is Legal Studies Management (Business Law) from Cal State
Fullerton. My husband and I own a small business named, Western Premier Business
Coaching. We prepare tax returns, do aggressive tax strategy, bookkeeping, and business
coaching. Our goal is to train up the next generation of small business owners, and help direct
current small business owners. We have over 25 years of experience in business and
accounting.
