Bio: My name is Deborah Bown and I am excited to be a teacher again at Pacific
Cross Preparatory! Before staying home to teach our two children, Abby and
Isaac, I graduated from Cal State Northridge with a B.A. in Deaf Studies, an M.A.
in Special Education, and K-12 Teaching Credential. I taught public middle school
math and science for five years, followed by teaching multiple subjects for four
years at a private Christian school. In my free time I enjoy mountain biking,
playing guitar and piano, reading and playing competitive board games. It is
wonderful to be in the classroom to help your students learn and develop math
skills in engaging ways. Get ready for a great year!
