Class Title: Medieval History
Grades: 6-8th
Course Description: Your child is going to love history after taking this course. This
course is the second in the Mystery of History series, covering the years 30-1456
A.D. It provides a comprehensive view of events in the Western world from the
fall of Rome to the birth of the Renaissance, as well as events in Latin America,
Africa, and Asia during this time period. This book is written from a biblical
worldview. We will have fun together learning about art, music, and theology in
each region. Hands-on projects and crafts will be done in class to enhance
learning. This is a two-semester course.

Bio: Julia Hsu lives in Laguna Niguel with her husband, two children, and their
beloved dog, Maple. She received her bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine, a
Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from UC Irvine, and a master's degree in
Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University. She has taught various
grade levels ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade. She has worked in both
public and private school settings and is a homeschool mom herself. Her passion
has always been teaching in the classroom and creating a hands-on environment
for learning.
