Course Description:

This athletic class will get students moving outdoors, learning new games and playing some old favorites all while having a lot of fun!  Sometimes the class will play on the blacktop and other times on the field. Students will be encouraged to see things through the eyes of their peers and look for ways to encourage their classmates.

Bio:

I have been married to my husband Aaron for 18 years and we have a 11-year-old daughter Mika and 12--year-old son Kai. I taught preschool for 2 years at TLC preschool and have worked in the classroom with kids from kindergarten to 3rd grade. Through church, I have both volunteered and been on staff working with kids from elementary up to high school. My passion is working with kids and connecting with their families. I love to see how kids learn and how they individually see the world and try to help them progress based on their individual learning style and personality.

I have my bachelor’s degree in both Human Development and Biblical Studies and I also worked on my teaching credential at Concordia University in Irvine. During my free time I love to grab a good coffee and walk with a friend, go on adventures with my family, roller blade, run and I’ll never say no to dancing or holla hooping.
