Description:

This course teaches basic language patterns and vocabulary. We will focus on language skills: reading, speaking and listening as well as the culture of Spanish speaking countries.  Grammar will be introduced, including subject pronouns, interrogatives, conjunctions, present and preterit tenses in both regular and irregular verbs, prepositions, adjectives, adverbs, and more.

Karen is a wife and mom of three boys, and enjoys teaching in various settings as a tutor and homeschool mom. A native from El Salvador, she is fluent in Spanish and enjoys sharing her culture and language with others. Karen majored in criminal justice and minored in Spanish while in college. When she is not teaching, you can find Karen spending time with family and friends, enjoying life in Southern California.
