CHESS


Grades: K-6th


We bring the ancient and amazing game of chess to life! Our story-based lessons are tailored to the
skill level of the students meaning all chess levels are welcome! In each class, children receive a
dynamic lesson followed by chess playing time where they can practice what they have learned and
make new friends! Chess teaches many life skills including sportsmanship, patience, strategic thinking,
planning ahead, and learning from your losses. The session will end with a fun tournament where students have the opportunity to win trophies and prizes.
