Class Title: Apologia Anatomy & Physiology Grades: 5th- 6th Course Description: This year-long class using the Apologia text, Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology, will provide a great introduction to the human body from head to toe! In this course, your students will do a deep dive into the unique design of their own body–both inside and out–and how they can keep it working well! They’ll also explore a range of topics, such as human DNA, cell anatomy, and body systems, through the curriculum filled with vivid graphics, interactive lessons, and hands-on projects. This anatomy book highlights the connection between science and the wonder of God’s creation. Students will discover how the intricate design of the human body reflects the Creator’s wisdom and care, fostering a deeper appreciation for their own unique design. Through interactive activities, lessons, and hands-on projects including a few dissections. This faith-based anatomy study will inspire curiosity and a lifelong desire to marvel at the complexity of God’s work in human anatomy and physiology. Textbook/Materials needed: Please purchase the textbook ONLY, Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology (ISBN #9781935495147) and just one copy per family is needed. DO NOT purchase the Apologia Notebooking Journal. I have created custom lab and homework books to go along with the textbook. These student books are included in the class materials fee. Class Max: 18 students Cost of Class (per semester): $360 ($285 class fee + $75 materials fee) per semester. This fee includes all lab or project materials and student notebook. A $100 non-refundable deposit will be due by June 1, which is applied to first semester. I offer multiple payment plans for the balance: lump sum payment for the balance of $260 at the start of the semester, split into 2 installments of $130 each, OR as 4 monthly payments of $65 each. Since 1999, she has been a homeschool mother and has taught courses for various private school programs, learning centers, and co-op groups. Over the last 26 years Tiffany has taught thousands of homeschool students and she finds great joy in working hand in hand with parents to develop the best fit for their students.
