This is a business and Microsoft Excel class. At the end of the year, your child will be:
1.) set apart amongst his/her peers, and
2.) hireable!
Excel is a critical tool that helps business owners and employees perform day to day, weekly, monthly, and yearly tasks. Excel is essential in business, throughout all industries. This class teaches the basics of Excel, and from there we start learning about the different industries and how they are supported using Excel.
In this class, we learn about sales and marketing, procurement, personal and business finance, and accounting. This is a hands on class that has practical business applications through the use of Excel. This class is designed to teach your student Excel, but how it’s used in the business world with a working understanding of why it’s used.
In a day in age when Excel is not formally taught in college anymore, this class helps prepare the next generation of men and women entering the workforce a working knowledge of one of the most utilized tools used in business. This course is a culmination of over 25 years of experience working hands on with business owners.
There is no prerequisite for this class; however, students must have a device (not a cell phone), that has Microsoft Excel. This device can be a laptop, tablet, or iPad.
This is a year-long course. A book will be provided and will be part of the materials fee.
Cost of class (per semester): $300 with a $50 materials fee.

About the Teacher:
I am Julia Carlos. I have a BA in Legal Studies Management (Business Law) from Cal State Fullerton. My husband and I own two small businesses named, Western Premier Business Coaching, and Summit Tax and Accounting Advisors. We prepare tax returns, do aggressive tax strategy, bookkeeping, and business coaching. Our goal is to train up the next generation of small business owners and help direct current small business owners. We have over 25 years of experience in business, accounting, and helping the small business community across the United States.
