Kinder Craft & Storytime (K-1st)

This class will be a sweet time of reading, learning and being creative together. The literature books will cover topics about seasons, holidays, animals, weather, community leaders, and several other Kindergarten topics. It will incorporate; crafts, music, movement, patterns, and rhythms as well as early literacy skills. 

Cost Per Semester: $150 per semester (with a one time $25 supply fee for the year)

$50 deposit this summer. 

Textbook, workbooks, or materials needed for class: none, all supplies will be provided by the teacher

Bio: Jamie Cornish lives in Mission Viejo with her Husband and 4 children. She has 3 daughters and one son. They are all very active in their church through various ministries! 

Jamie attended UCSD and has a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Minor in Education. She went on to receive her Multiple Subject Teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton University and went right into full time teaching.

She has taught various grade levels over the years, from preschool to 6th grade. She taught 5th grade for 3 years at Aliso Viejo Christian School. Jamie took a break from education to raise her four small children. During this time she continued to substitute teach and homeschool her own children. She went back to the classroom 6 years ago teaching in hybrid education. She also has experience in tutoring all elementary subjects. 

Jamie has a love and passion for teaching young students. She knew from a young age that she wanted to become a teacher and feels blessed to be living it out each day.  When she is not teaching, she enjoys watching her children play sports, time with her family at the beach, going on adventures and exercising.
