Lettering for the Lord

A Class for Parents as well as Students 6 th Grade through High School
If you would like to be able to make beautifully hand-lettered cards and gifts while
fellowshipping around the Word of God, this class is for you!

We will learn the art of hand lettering and modern brush pen calligraphy as well as painting with
watercolor brush pens and acrylic paint pens. Each week we will create beautiful inspirational art
on a variety of mediums: rocks, tote bags, tea towels, ceramic tiles, watercolor paper, wood,
greeting cards, canvas, ceramic cups, picture frames, stickers, and more.

Tuition: $200 per semester, payable by Venmo (Lori-Verstegen) or check to LMV Arts and
Writing (Tuition may be paid monthly.)

A $10 material fee each semester covers the mediums listed in the description that I will
provide, so you do not have to gather them. However, there is a required list of supplies that each
student will need to purchase.

loriLori Verstegen homeschooled her four boys from 1985-2009 and has been active teaching
classes to other homeschooling families for more than 30 years. She is mostly known for
teaching IEW writing classes; however, several years ago, she found a new passion she calls
inspirational art. For the past six years she has been sharing this passion with moms and students.
Her goal is to help students create beautiful art work that puts God’s Word on display in beautiful
ways.
